Tame Impala & JENNIE's 'Dracula' Hits No. 1 on Radio Songs

"Dracula," the collaboration between Tame Impala and JENNIE, has climbed one spot to claim No. 1 on Billboard's all-format Radio Songs chart dated Sept. 26, drawing 62.6 million in airplay audience during Sept. 11-17, according to Luminate. The achievement marks the first time either act has topped the chart.

The track began as a solo Tame Impala release last October before a duet version with JENNIE arrived in early February. For Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, the No. 1 follows an earlier top 10 appearance on the chart as a cowriter and coproducer of Dua Lipa's "Houdini," which reached No. 7 in 2024. Tame Impala first appeared on Billboard's charts in 2010.

JENNIE previously cracked the Radio Songs chart with "One of the Girls," alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, which peaked at No. 48 in 2024. Her group, BLACKPINK, has not yet reached the Radio Songs ranking.

On the Billboard Hot 100, "Dracula" has returned to its No. 5 high, having already given both Tame Impala and JENNIE their first top 10 entry on that chart. The Columbia Records release also continues to dominate the multimetric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, now in its 37th week at the summit, and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, where it has led for 19 weeks.

The song's crossover success extends across radio formats: it leads Adult Pop Airplay for a ninth week, following seven weeks atop Pop Airplay and two weeks atop Alternative Airplay. It has also reached No. 2 on Adult Alternative Airplay and climbed into the top 15 on Adult Contemporary.

Parker and JENNIE cowrote "Dracula" with Sarah Aarons and Carly Gibert, with Parker handling production solo. Aarons detailed the song's winding creation to Billboard last year, describing how multiple ideas eventually merged into the final version. "'Dracula' took a long time, in the way that there are so many iterations of what it was," Aarons said. She recalled an earlier song fragment that became what she calls the chorus and Parker calls the pre-chorus, and described how a separate song titled "Dracula" — one that Parker's wife loved — eventually got folded into the track. "One day he just sent me a thing. He was like, 'I put the line from "Dracula" into this other idea,'" Aarons said, adding that after Parker combined the elements, "I was like, 'Oh damn, that's kind of sick.'"
