Quick answer

For the full dome screen, sit in the middle of the 200 level or the front rows of the 100 level; the back of the 100 level loses the top of the screen under the overhang. Sphere is a no-bag venue: only clutches up to about 6 x 6 x 2 inches. Park in the Venetian or Palazzo garages. Upcoming shows and ticket links are below, refreshed every week.

Sphere is the 17,600-seat domed arena just east of the Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip, best known for the 16K wraparound screen inside it. It opened on Sept. 29, 2023, with U2, and now hosts concert residencies, films made for the dome such as The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, and one-off shows.

This guide covers which seats to pick, the bag rules at the door, where to park and stay, and every show on sale for the next six months.

Best seats at Sphere

Sphere's seats are steeply raked and all face the same way, toward a screen that wraps up and over the audience. That changes the usual arena logic: closer is not always better.

  • 100 level (floor-adjacent). The front rows are the closest you get to the band at a concert. Further back, the 200 level hangs over the 100 level and cuts off the top of the screen. NBC News reported in May 2023, citing a source familiar with the venue, that about 4% of the roughly 17,500 seats have a limited view of the screen because of that overhang. Visitor guides put the cut-off at around row 23 of the 100 level.
  • 200 level. The middle of this level sits at roughly eye level with the centre of the screen, so you see the whole image without craning. It is the safest pick for a first visit and for the films made for the dome.
  • 300 and 400 levels. Higher and steeper, with the full screen in view and the stage further away. Good value for screen-led shows, less so if you want to see faces on stage.

Our pick: for a concert, the front of the 100 level if you care most about the band, the centre of the 200 level if you came for the screen. For a film such as The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, skip the back half of the 100 level.

Accessible seating is sold through Ticketmaster or through Sphere's Accessibility Services department. Some shows use seat haptics (seats that vibrate with the sound); Sphere advises guests who are pregnant or have health concerns to check with a doctor first.

Where to stay near Sphere

Getting to Sphere

Sphere's address is 255 Sands Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89169, east of the Venetian and the Palazzo.

  • Parking. The Venetian Resort lists both the Palazzo and the Venetian self-park garages for Sphere guests. Event parking rates apply on Sphere headliner nights and vary by event; registered Venetian and Palazzo hotel guests keep their daily rate. Spaces are limited, so arrive early on a sold-out night.
  • Walking. From the Strip, walk through the Venetian, which connects to Sphere by a pedestrian bridge. Sphere warns that the bridge is sometimes closed for events (it was closed on Oct. 23, 2026), so check the venue's transportation page on the day.
  • Rideshare and taxi. Use the drop-off point shown on Sphere's venue map; it has moved since opening, so check it before you go.
  • Accessible drop-off. Visitor reports recommend the Sands Avenue entrance for wheelchair users, since the bridge entry has stairs. Confirm with Sphere Accessibility Services when you book.

Sphere's guest line is 725-258-0001.

Sphere bag policy and what to bring

Sphere is a no-bag venue. As of Nov. 1, 2026, its FAQ says:

  • Allowed: clutches, purses and fanny packs no larger than about 6 x 6 x 2 inches; diaper bags and medical bags, after screening; empty, clear, soft-sided water bottles.
  • Not allowed: larger bags and backpacks, video cameras, professional cameras, tripods, monopods and selfie sticks, audio recorders, laptops and tablets, and outside food and drinks.
  • No bag or coat check. Anything that is not allowed has to go back to your car or hotel room.
  • No re-entry. Once you leave, you cannot come back in.

Every guest needs a ticket, whatever their age, and tickets are mobile only. Inside, Sphere is cashless: food and drinks are sold, but only by card or mobile payment.

Tickets

Most Sphere shows are sold through Ticketmaster, and the links above go to each show's next date. Residencies such as Metallica's Life Burns Faster run add and sell out weekends at different times, so the next date on sale can change from week to week.

We update the show list every week from the ticket seller's listings and recheck the bag and parking rules when Sphere changes them.
