Taylor Swift has landed her 12th No. 1 on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart with "Patient Zero," which tops the Oct. 10-dated survey. The track is one of four bonus songs released Sept. 25 from her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl.
In the week ending Oct. 1, "Patient Zero" generated 34.5 million chart-eligible U.S. streams, according to Luminate — the largest single-week total in the country since Drake's "Janice STFU" (40.7 million) and "Ran to Atlanta" (38.5 million) debuted toward the May 30 Billboard charts.
The song is Swift's second newcomer to No. 1 on Streaming Songs in 2026 and her third overall. "The Fate of Ophelia" previously spent seven weeks at No. 1 between October and December 2025, then returned to the top for one more week on Jan. 10 after holiday songs cleared off the chart. "I Knew It, I Knew You" also led the ranking for a week in June.
Swift first reached No. 1 on Streaming Songs in November 2014 with "Shake It Off." She is one of only two acts with 10 or more chart-toppers in the ranking's 13-year history, trailing Drake, who has 22.
On the Oct. 10 chart, Swift claims four of the top five positions. Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" breaks up the sweep at No. 2 with 22.4 million streams. Swift's "Cleveland!" sits at No. 3 (19.3 million), followed by "Babylon" at No. 4 (19 million) and "Pink Clouding" at No. 5 (18.4 million).
The showing pushes Swift's career totals to 41 top fives on Streaming Songs — second all time behind Drake's 70 — and 73 top 10s, again second behind Drake's 114.
Further down the chart, "The Fate of Ophelia" is the ranking's Greatest Gainer, rising to No. 12 with 10.2 million streams, up 51%. "Opalite" re-enters at No. 22 with 7.7 million streams, up 53%, while "I Knew It, I Knew You" holds at No. 39 with 6.3 million streams. The first two songs appeared on the original release of The Life of a Showgirl, while "I Knew It, I Knew You" comes from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
Meanwhile, "Patient Zero" has also debuted at No. 1 on the multimetric Billboard Hot 100 — Swift's 16th chart-topper there — as The Life of a Showgirl returns to the summit of the Billboard 200.
