Dua Lipa turned 31 on Aug. 22, celebrating her first birthday since marrying actor Callum Turner. The pop star shared a glimpse of her weekend festivities in an Instagram carousel posted Monday, filled with intimate moments between the newlyweds.
The photos showed Turner kissing Lipa on the cheek during a countryside getaway, along with images of the couple wandering through fields of flowers. One clip captured the pair laughing as Lipa sank a basketball shot. Later that evening, she changed into a black off-the-shoulder dress for a birthday dinner that included cake, ice cream and a martini, with a video showing the moments leading up to her blowing out the candles.
"Birthday weekend," Lipa wrote in her caption, adding a kiss mark emoji. "Thank you for all the love and the wishes!!! Ready for the next lap around the sun…it just keeps getting better."
This birthday holds extra significance as Lipa's first as a married woman. She and Turner wed on May 31 in an intimate civil ceremony at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall before hosting a larger wedding celebration in Sicily in June. Since then, Lipa has continued to share snapshots of married life with fans, with her latest birthday post offering another window into the couple's new chapter together.
