WWE’s decision to bring its iconic weekly show Monday Night Raw to Netflix has turned out to be a major streaming success. Just one year after its Netflix debut, the long-running wrestling program has reached a staggering 340 million views, proving that sports entertainment can thrive in the on-demand era.
According to newly revealed figures, Netflix users spent more than 525 million hours watching WWE-related content throughout 2025. While Raw dominated viewership on its own, additional programming—including premium live events such as WrestleMania and Royal Rumble streamed internationally, along with the weekly series SmackDown—generated another 185 million views.
A Weekly Chart Mainstay Across the Globe
Since launching on Netflix in January 2025, Monday Night Raw has consistently ranked among the platform’s most-watched English-language TV shows. The series appeared on Netflix’s Global Top 10 list for 47 out of 52 weeks, averaging over 3 million viewers every week.
Its international reach has been equally impressive. Raw maintained a Top 10 presence in major markets including:
- The United States (51 weeks)
- Bolivia (49 weeks)
- Canada (48 weeks)
- The United Kingdom (40 weeks)
- Mexico (38 weeks)
These numbers highlight WWE’s ability to connect with audiences far beyond its traditional broadcast base.
Netflix Expands WWE Content in the US
Adding to the momentum, Netflix recently confirmed that a large portion of WWE’s historic content library will soon be available to US subscribers. The move signals a deeper partnership between the two entertainment giants and positions Netflix as a major destination for both classic and current WWE programming.
WWE Becomes Part of Netflix’s Biggest Moments
WWE talent has also become a visible presence across Netflix’s high-profile events. Over the past year, WWE stars appeared at major showcases such as Next on Netflix 2025, Netflix Tudum: The Live Event, the company’s 2025 Upfront presentation, and multiple Netflix House openings in cities like Philadelphia and Dallas.
The crossover push even extended into pop culture. A special Stranger Things-themed episode of Raw aired in early January, shortly after the hit series concluded its final season, further blending WWE storytelling with Netflix’s original universe.
A New Era for Wrestling on Streaming
With massive viewership numbers, global chart dominance, and an expanding content library, Monday Night Raw's first year on Netflix marks a turning point for professional wrestling in the streaming age. As WWE and Netflix continue to deepen their collaboration, the line between sports entertainment and mainstream streaming culture has never been thinner.
