KATSEYE has scored its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as WILD debuts atop the chart dated Aug. 29, earning 170,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 20, according to Luminate. The set marks the group's second top 10 effort, following Beautiful Chaos, which peaked at No. 4 in 2025.
WILD becomes the fourth No. 1 album by an all-woman group this decade, joining TWICE's With YOU-th (2025), NewJeans' 2nd EP 'Get Up' (2023) and BLACKPINK's Born Pink (2022). Before Born Pink, the last all-woman group to top the chart was Danity Kane with Welcome to the Dollhouse in 2008.
The debut also stands as KATSEYE's biggest week yet by both equivalent album units and pure album sales, which totaled 145,000. It's the largest units week for an all-woman group since the Billboard 200 began ranking by units in December 2015, and the biggest pure sales week for an all-woman group in more than three years — since TWICE's Ready To Be: 12th Mini Album opened with 146,000 on the March 25, 2023 chart.
Of WILD's 170,000 units, sales made up 145,000 (No. 1 on Top Album Sales), streaming equivalent album (SEA) units totaled 24,500 — equal to 26.95 million on-demand official streams (No. 19 on Top Streaming Albums) — and track equivalent album (TEA) units came to about 500. The sales haul was fueled by more than 30 CD and vinyl variants, many featuring collectible photocards, randomized items, signed editions or bonus tracks. WILD arrived after two Hot 100-charting singles, "Pinky Up" (No. 28 in April) and "Animal" (No. 24 on the Aug. 8 chart).
Also debuting in the top 10, Phoebe Bridgers earns her first top 10 album as Lost Weekend opens at No. 2 with 118,000 equivalent album units — her best week ever. Sales comprised 77,000 of that total (No. 2 on Top Album Sales), SEA units reached 41,000 (41.6 million streams, No. 7 on Top Streaming Albums) and TEA units were negligible. The album's sales were boosted by availability across 16 physical editions spanning CD, vinyl and cassette. Lost Weekend is Bridgers' first solo studio album since 2020's Punisher; she has since formed the supergroup Boygenius with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, whose 2023 album The Record reached No. 4.
Every title from No. 3 through No. 9 on the new chart previously held the top spot. Stray Kids' THIS & THAT falls 1-3 with 82,000 units (down 78%), Olivia Rodrigo's you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love dips 3-4 with 70,000 (down 3%), Ella Langley's Dandelion slips 4-5 with nearly 70,000 (down 1%), Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem moves 5-6 with 67,000 (down 5%), Ariana Grande's Petal falls 2-8 with 51,000 (down 38%), and Drake's ICEMAN holds at No. 9 with 43,000 (down 5%). Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving returns to the top 10, rising one spot to No. 10 with 41,000 units (up 11%).
